Council of Indigenous People of Taiwan 25 October 2018

DBNA Supreme Council Members, together with a Paramount Chief of the Bidayuh, paid a visit to the Council of Indigenous People of Taiwan on 25 October 2018. They will be visiting other cultural sites and places of interests.

TYT Celebration Parade @Sibu Sarawak

DBNA is proud to be a part of the Sarawakian community at the TYT celebration parade held in Sibu, Sarawak today, 11/10/18.

DBNA is represented by members from the DBNA Central Branches i.e Sibu, Sarikei and Mukah.

Led by Supreme Council Executive Committee Member, Semba Mejun Abang, the contingent is dressed in full Bidayuh costumes and colours representing the 4 major language groups of the Bidayuhs.

Datapuri Financial System Training

In our continuing pursuit to be updated and remain relevant in the IT world, DBNA embarked on a training for the Branch Chairman and Treasurer on the Datapuri Financial System.

The training started with the Kuching area branches/locations first.

The first training session was held on Saturday 22/9/18 attended by DBNA Serapi Branch’s 3 office bearers. Kudos to them for being the first!

Today’s (29/9/18) training session was attended by the Kuching Urban Branch, Penrissen Branch, Lundu Branch, Siburan Branch, Bung Sadong Branch and the Women Branch. It was held at the Mini Hall, DBNA Hq at Jln Kumpang, Kuching, from 9am-4pm.

System Training was conducted by Miss Miliza and Miss Dimple of Pasti Nyala Sdn Bhd.

DBNA Admin staff on duty, Mdm Elizabeth Noyek and Mdm Jane Dripin were on hand to provide assistance on the system and to collect feedback.

Thank You for Bidayuh Cultural Symposium 2018

On behalf of the President and Supreme Council Members of DBNA, I thank everyone who contributed towards the success of the recently concluded Bidayuh Cultural Symposium 2018 held from 10-12 August 2018 at the DBNA Headquarters premise, Jalan Kumpang, Kuching Sarawak.

It was a “Tara, Tara, ooooaaaaah” success. We are grateful to all who came to participate in our activities. We hope you had as much fun as we did organising it. See you again at future events or when you dine at Awah Cafe.
