KUCHING: The Gawai Bazaar is back in Serian after a two-year hiatus.
Dubbed the Gawai Bazaar 2022, it will take place from May 21 to May 29 at Taman Komuniti Serian featuring booths selling clothes, handicrafts, food and beverages.
The event programme includes Battle of the Bands, karaoke sessions, live performances, traditional costume and dance competitions, and others.
It is being organised by the Serian District Council (MDS) in collaboration with the Dayak Bidayuh National Association (DBNA), and the service centres of P199 Serian Parliamentary, N17 Muara Tuang, N 19 Mambong, N20 Tarat, N21 Tebedu, N22 Kedup, N23 Bukit Semuja and N30 Balai Ringin.
Come to Serian on those dates to support the local economy while enjoying early Gawai vibes.
