KUCHING (22/02/2024) – President of Dayak Bidayuh National Association (DBNA) YBhg Datu Ik Pahon Joyik was present to pay his last respects to the late Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud at the Atrium of DUN Complex, prior to the state funeral today.
Tun Pehin Sri Taib, also known as the Father of Modern Sarawak, died at a hospital in Kuala Lumpur at 4.40 am yesterday.
He was Chief Minister of Sarawak from 1981 to 2014, and Sarawak Governor from 2014 to 2024.
