Serian (Nov.28): A total of 20 participants from the Bibukar and Bisadung tribe in the Serian and Tebedu District gathered at Dewan Masyarakat Serian to discuss and identify Indigenous and Traditional Knowledge associated with the Hill Paddy Planting Cycle.
The participants consisted of Ketua Masyarakat and Ketua Kaum led by Temenggong Henry Bujang Sendan, DBNA Serian branch members led by Dr Charlie Ungang, DBNA Tebedu branch members led by Pemanca Kane Manung, DBNA Bung Sadung branch members led by Mr. Nicholas Amin, DBNA Kedup branch members led by Mr. Bill Janggu, and experts in the Hill Paddy Planting field.
The Regional Workshop for the Bidayuh Hill Paddy Cultivation Documentation exercise kicked off in Lundu was held in Siburan, Serian, and Bau respectively.
