SERIAN (13 February 2026);
The completion and handing-over ceremony of the Serian DBNA Community Centre marks a significant milestone for the local community in Serian. This event symbolised the successful realisation of a shared vision to establish a dedicated space that fosters unity, community engagement and development among the local community and members.
This new community centre is envisioned as a vibrant hub for cultural activities, meetings, educational programs, and social initiatives. This milestone not only represents the completion of a physical structure, but also the beginning of new opportunities for growth and togetherness in the Serian Division.
The ceremony witnesses the key handing over by the appointed contractor, ZAKARIA YEW CONSTRUCTION to YBhg. Datuk Ik Pahon anak Joyik, President of Dayak Bidayuh National Association (DBNA) and Dr. Charlie Ungang, Chairman of DBNA Serian Branch.
